Company Employees Participate in the Selection Committee for IPA's "10 Information Security Threats 2026"

AP Communications Co., Ltd. The Company has participated for four consecutive years since 2023.

0-WAN is a business launched in response to the growing importance of zero trust due to rising cyber threats and the widespread adoption of remote work. We are receiving an increasing number of consultations from companies struggling to cope with increasingly complex cyber attacks in recent years.

About "10 Information Security Threats 2026"

The IPA publishes the "10 Information Security Threats" to help promote security measures. "10 Information Security Threats 2026" was decided through deliberations and voting by the "10 Major Threats Selection Committee," consisting of approximately 250 members including researchers in the information security field and corporate practitioners, based on threat candidates selected by the IPA from information security incidents and attacks that had significant social impact in 2025.

Yasuhiro Yamane, Engineering Manager, 0-WAN, BzD Department, iTOC Division

Joined AP Communications in September 2021. Drawn to the concept of zero trust, he launched a security business specializing in the zero-trust field as an in-house venture. Leveraging the knowledge and experience cultivated at a major ISP, he is widely active in speaking at the "Internet Week" basic internet technology conference, lecturing at various security seminars, and conducting security awareness activities.

Kengo Kishigami, SOC, 0-WAN, BzD Department, iTOC Division

Joined AP Communications in April 2024. Utilizing his accumulated CSIRT and SOC experience, he is in charge of the CTEM field. While providing operational support for various products including CrowdStrike, Zscaler, and XM Cyber, he also actively speaks at external events.

Taishin Yanagida, SI, 0-WAN, BzD Department, iTOC Division

Joined AP Communications as a new graduate in April 2024. As a member of the SI team, he primarily provides Zscaler implementation support while actively disseminating information about the company's products through technical blogs. His technical and communication skills were recognized, and he was certified as a "Zscaler ACES" in January 2026.

"0-WAN" is a project responsible for the zero-trust business, which is one of the three "zeros" (Zero Trust, Zero Touch Provisioning, Zero Touch Operation) promoted by the BzD Department of the iTOC Division.

We support all processes from planning, conceptualization, and formulation to operation for companies considering a transition from traditional perimeter defense networks to a zero-trust model. In addition, by collaborating with other departments that provide resident support services, we offer a wide range of support, including not only implementation but also continuous after-sales support and assistance for in-house production.
