A-Tie Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Genki Kashiyama; TSE Growth Market: 369A; hereinafter "the Company"), a nationwide provider of perpetual memorial graves and tree burials, has established a new columbarium at Hoshosan Sokuhoji Temple (hereinafter "Sokuhoji Temple") in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, and will begin accepting sales applications starting Saturday, June 20, 2026.
A New Option for Visiting Graves in an Era of Extreme Heat
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, sales applications will begin for 'Moriyuku,' the columbarium with perpetual memorial service at Sokuhoji Temple.
In recent years, Japan has experienced prolonged periods of extreme heat, increasing concerns about heatstroke during summer grave visits, especially during the Obon season. With the Japan Meteorological Agency defining days with temperatures of 40°C or higher as 'extreme heat days,' the environment for outdoor summer activities has significantly changed.
Against this backdrop, we have newly established 'Moriyuku' as an indoor columbarium unaffected by weather or temperature. Beyond offering a diverse choice for memorial services, its convenient access and comfortable indoor environment provide a safe and peaceful space for visitors to spend time with their loved ones, regardless of the season.
A Perpetual Memorial Columbarium in Akatsuka, Setagaya, Accessible from Three Train Lines
Sokuhoji Temple, located in Akatsuka, Setagaya Ward, is within walking distance of three railway lines: the Odakyu Line, Keio Line, and Tokyu Setagaya Line.
Surrounded by schools and residential areas, the temple offers a quiet and serene environment for visitors.

● Perpetual Memorial Service Included – No Annual Management Fees
Sokuhoji Temple will conduct perpetual memorial services, ensuring peace of mind even without successors. With no annual management fees※, it is also suitable for pre-arranged graves ('Juryo'), allowing individuals to prepare their own resting place in advance.
※The initial payment includes management fees for the entire period.
● Hands-Free Visitation with Buddhist Altar Set Included
For individual graves, all Buddhist altar items are included in the plan, enabling visitors to come without bringing anything.
Set contents: Artificial flowers, Moriyuku-exclusive grave tablet, photo frame and stand
Future Developments
Amid declining birthrates, aging populations, and changing lifestyles, the need for solutions to grave succession and reduced management burdens continues to grow. Additionally, in urban areas, interest in memorial sites emphasizing convenience and visitation environments is rising.
Moving forward, the Company will continue collaborating with temples to plan and develop perpetual memorial graves, tree burials, and columbariums, meeting diverse memorial needs. We will promote the creation of safe and accessible visitation environments and support the sustainable operation of temples.
