Resort Club Ise-Shima Hosts 'New Play Equipment Preview' and Adds Inclusive Play Space Under the Theme of 'Yu-iku' (Play-Learning)

Resort Club Ise-Shima (Shima City, Mie Prefecture), managed by M&M Service Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kameoka City, Kyoto; President: Satoru Koike), is constructing a new outdoor play space incorporating inclusive play equipment under the theme of 'Yu-iku' (play-learning).

Accordingly, a 'New Play Equipment Preview' for media and industry partners will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

On the day, a representative from Bornelund Inc., who cooperated in the introduction of the equipment, will be invited to explain the concept. Attendees will also be able to observe and photograph children using the equipment. It is also possible to attend for observation only.

Additionally, guests can enjoy welcome pizza and drinks as part of the resort's 'Marugoto Omotenashi®' all-inclusive service.

Creating a Play Space Based on 'Yu-iku'

In recent years, the environment surrounding children's play has changed significantly. With the decline in places and opportunities for free outdoor play, and the digitalization of playtime, there are fewer places where children can gain diverse experiences while moving their bodies.

Furthermore, there is growing interest in 'inclusive play environments' where everyone, regardless of individual differences, can enjoy themselves together.

Against this background, Resort Club Ise-Shima is setting up a new play space in the outdoor area based on the theme of 'Yu-iku'. The goal is to create stay value that goes beyond 'just staying' and leads to child growth and family memories.

Introducing Inclusive Equipment with Cooperation from Bornelund

Utilizing the outdoor area on the resort's premises, development is underway for an inclusive play environment with five pieces of equipment, with cooperation from Bornelund Inc., which specializes in the import and sale of educational toys and play environment construction. Guided by the resort's desire to 'preserve the beautiful nature of Ise-Shima for future generations,' equipment from KOMPAN, a European manufacturer that strictly manages eco-friendly raw materials and manufacturing processes, has been adopted.

Attention has also been paid to harmony with the rich natural landscape. The aim is to create a space where adults and children can spend time freely and refresh while blending into the view overlooking Matoya Bay.

Evolving into a Kids Resort Enjoyable Both Indoors and Outdoors

Furthermore, the existing indoor kids' space features interactive content that allows guests to touch and enjoy visual projections inspired by Matoya Bay. It is a space designed to nurture children's curiosity and creativity.

By combining this with the newly established outdoor play equipment, the resort aims to realize an indoor-outdoor integrated play environment unaffected by weather.
