Crowdfunding for Steam port of disaster-themed novel ADV The Worst Disaster Human, about an invisible girl and a boy who can only see invisible people, surpasses 300% and moves toward next goal

Water Phoenix Inc. (Head office: Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture; President and CEO: Keiichi Ito) has been running a crowdfunding campaign on CAMPFIRE since April 16 to raise development support funds for The Worst Disaster Human. The campaign began at 12:00 on Thursday, April 16, and reached its initial target of 1 million yen on the first day. It also reached its stretch goal of 1.5 million yen later that same day. As of Wednesday, May 13, the campaign has raised 3 million yen, exceeding 300% of its original 1 million yen target. Following strong support and requests for an additional goal, the team has decided to pursue a new next goal. The next goal is set at 3.3 million yen. If achieved, a new voice drama will be distributed to everyone who supports the project, regardless of pledge tier. In addition, a new reward called “Special Voice,” in which the heroine of the game calls the supporter’s name, will be added. The previously sold-out “Additional Still Rights Course” and “Custom Newly Drawn Illustration Course” will also return with some content changes. The special voice rewards are scheduled to be added from 22:00 on May 15. The “Kuro Special Voice Course” costs 10,000 yen and includes 12 voice lines: three selectable sets from 21 total sets, with four lines per set. The “Kuro Complete Special Voice Set Course” costs 70,000 yen and includes 84 voice lines, covering all 21 sets. After consulting with Yume Takanashi, the voice actor for Kuro, she agreed to cooperate on the voice rewards. She will record personalized name-included voice lines in Kuro’s voice exclusively for each supporter. Additional slots will also be added for sold-out rewards. The “Additional Still Rights Course” will add 10 slots at 60,000 yen, with the delivery format changed from a reproduction print to digital data. The “Custom Newly Drawn Illustration Course” will add 3 slots at 70,000 yen, also changing delivery from a reproduction print to digital data.
