This course is primarily conducted online, centering on impromptu debates (parliamentary debate) where students are divided into affirmative and negative sides on a given theme and argue logically in English.
Through the continuous process of structuring one's own opinions using English, understanding the opponent's arguments, and offering rebuttals, students will simultaneously hone both practical English skills and high-level critical thinking abilities.

■ What is Impromptu (Parliamentary) Debate?
Impromptu (parliamentary) debate is a practical learning activity where, instead of preparing a script in advance, participants think about a theme presented on the spot and exchange opinions in English.
It requires not only the ability to logically construct one's own opinions but also the cognitive flexibility to accurately comprehend the opponent's arguments and respond adaptively on the spot.
