The Reality: The "Gap" is Determined Immediately After Enrollment

In integrated junior and senior high schools, classes proceed at an unexpectedly fast pace from the very beginning. It is assumed that students will understand advanced content in a short period using challenging materials such as "New Treasure" for English and "Taikei Sugaku" (Systematic Mathematics) for Math.

As a result, many have reported that "stumbling at the start led to a lasting dislike of the subject," "the pace was too fast for review to catch up," or "a significant gap developed in just one month." It can be said that the "initial understanding" in junior high school learning largely dictates subsequent progress.

In response to these challenges, Jena Academy has opened a Spring Course where students can systematically acquire key units of English and Mathematics before enrollment.
