It is a great honor to have our initiatives, which possess resilience, public utility, and sustainability, evaluated among numerous applicant companies and organizations, and to be recognized with four awards simultaneously at a single year's award ceremony. E&S will continue to promote businesses that contribute to strengthening social infrastructure and national resilience.
Below is an introduction to the awarded business activities (including joint projects):

【Grand Prize】
■ "Japan Safe Net" Construction Project, Balancing Tourism Promotion and National Resilience
≪Provision of "FFS (FreeFreeShopping)," a tourism and disaster prevention platform that is app-download-free and operates solely via QR codes in urban areas and web browsers.≫
Starting with QR codes, it supports duty-free shopping and hands-free tourism as a "tourism DX platform." Accumulated human flow and purchasing data are utilized for disaster prevention planning and optimization of stockpiles. This project realizes "economically rational disaster prevention" by promoting tourism during normal times and, in the event of a disaster, providing accurate multilingual evacuation guidance combined with data-driven advanced regional resilience.
*Jointly awarded with Ninaite Inc.

【Excellence Award】
■ 'K5 RADIO': World's First AI-Powered Advanced Compression Technology for Next-Generation Communication Infrastructure, Originating from Japan
≪A new concept of communication specialized in "carrying meaning"≫
This is a new voice infrastructure development project aimed at building a "safe society understandable by ear." It combines low-capacity communication using the developed compression technology with location information and multilingual guidance, supporting everything from everyday guidance to evacuation guidance during emergencies. (Joint project with SPRITS; E&S Co., Ltd. received this award individually).

【Excellence Award】
■ Luminous Polyurea Resin Molded Product "PolyLINE"
This technology combines polyurea with luminous pigments, absorbing ultraviolet rays from sunlight and lighting during the day and emitting light autonomously at night or during power outages, serving as a luminous guide material. Due to polyurea's weather resistance, it can be used outdoors and emits light without requiring power, ensuring visibility for pedestrians and evacuation routes even during power outages in disasters.
It is a highly sustainable solution that allows the effects of its introduction to continue for a long period while minimizing maintenance burden.
*Jointly awarded with Mikura Kogyo Co., Ltd. and LTI Co., Ltd.

【Good Practice Award】
■ Water-based Acrylic Wood Protective Paint "Hybrid Guard ST"
≪The Importance of 'Exterior Wood Protection': Weather-Resistant Protective Paint≫
It forms a protective film against complex deterioration factors such as UV radiation, rainfall, and humidity, enhancing the dimensional stability and durability of wood. Furthermore, it maintains aesthetic beauty for a long period with a natural finish that highlights the wood grain, demonstrating high effectiveness in protecting wood fences, wooden walls, public wooden facilities, and CLT exterior panels.
This paint was recognized for its aim to enhance the added value of wood and revitalize local forestry, contributing to the continuous use of domestic timber and the creation of stable timber demand. *E&S Co., Ltd. received this award individually.
