Open Badge Factory Supports International Competency Specification 'CASE'

InfoZine, the exclusive partner in Japan for the open badge issuance and management platform 'Open Badge Factory (OBF)', has announced that OBF now supports 'CASE (Competency and Academic Standards Exchange)' v1.0 and v1.1, a specification for competency and academic standard interoperability developed by the 1EdTech Consortium.

Simultaneously, integration with the EU's skills and occupation classification system 'ESCO' has been updated to the latest API (version 1.2.0). Consequently, badges issued via OBF can now be linked to competency frameworks worldwide, centering on major North American and European standards.
