[Immersive Engine Deployment] Creating Immersive Spaces at Epson XaILab to Accelerate Corporate Communication Solutions

Immersive Inc. (Headquarters: Ebisu, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masumi Makino; hereinafter 'Immersive') has deployed its immersive video system 'Immersive Engine' and produced original CG content for a 360-degree immersive space at 'Epson XaILab', a corporate solution center opened in January 2026 by Epson Sales Japan Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo).

Immersive was selected as a co-creation partner for the facility's goal of 'evolving from a place to show products to a place to propose solutions'.

By combining Epson's projector technology with the Immersive Engine, a new immersive space has been realized that supports solving communication challenges for all types of companies.

■ Expanding the Potential of Projectors - The Immersive Engine

The 'Immersive Engine' is a system that allows users to control video projection across an entire space freely by linking multiple projectors with a single tablet. Combined with Epson's projectors, it enables immersive content expression that maximizes the potential of the space.

For this deployment, the following three points were highly evaluated:

- Expansion of proposal scope through combination with projector technology
- Intuitive operability via tablet
- Overwhelming space-saving capability

■ Two Immersive Spaces Used for a Wide Range of Applications

The combination of Epson's projector technology and the Immersive Engine supports solving corporate communication challenges within the facility's two immersive spaces.

・Immersive Experience that 'Intuitively Conveys' Corporate Vision

In the 'Immersive Theater (360-degree immersive space)', an overwhelming 'WOW experience' is created where visitors are enveloped by images. By enabling intuitive information sharing that cannot be conveyed through words or flat documents alone, it functions as a space for proposing solutions to corporate communication challenges, such as 'how to present one's own brand' and 'creating communication with customers in real spaces'.

・Focusing Attention and Accelerating Decision-Making

In the 'Inspire Lounge (immersive meeting space)', the advanced control of the Immersive Engine allows for the projection of multiple pieces of information, up to five screens, onto a single screen. By creating a 'shared gaze' where all participants view the same large screen, it eliminates differences in understanding and perception during meetings. This accelerates decision-making not only in regular meetings but also at BCP (Business Continuity Planning) bases during emergencies.

■ Leading a Transformation in Sales Style with Projectors × Immersive Engine

For Epson, where a sales style centered on product specifications was previously mainstream, the combination of projectors and the Immersive Engine has enabled a new approach.

By allowing customers to directly experience the 'benefits after implementation' through the immersive space, the focus has expanded from explaining individual devices to 'demonstrating value across the entire space'. This marks a step towards a new, intuitive, and persuasive sales style.
