Abelsoft Enters into Business Agreement with Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture for Dispatch of 'Regional Revitalization Entrepreneur'

Abelsoft Co., Ltd. has signed an agreement with Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture, effective June 1, 2026, for the dispatch of an employee based on the 'Regional Revitalization Entrepreneur System' agreement.

Under this agreement, a company employee will be stationed in Chichibu City to support smart city promotion and regional problem-solving by utilizing advanced technology as a dispatched official.

■ Dispatch Period
June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2028

■ About the Regional Revitalization Entrepreneur System
The 'Regional Revitalization Entrepreneur System' is an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) that dispatches corporate employees to local governments for a certain period to utilize private-sector expertise and experience in regional development. The goal is to resolve regional issues and achieve sustainable development through the introduction of digital technology, tourism promotion, and the revitalization of local industries.

■ About Chichibu City
Chichibu City is located in the northwestern part of Saitama Prefecture and is blessed with rich natural environments and historical/cultural resources. It has developed as a tourism city with resources such as traditional culture, typified by the Chichibu Night Festival, and seasonal landscapes. The city is also working on industrial promotion and creating new businesses by utilizing regional assets. However, it also faces challenges such as population decline and aging, creating a need for regional revitalization through digital technology and new industry creation.

■ Main Duties of the Regional Revitalization Entrepreneur
As a dispatched official, the employee will focus on the following areas:

○ Smart City Promotion Project
- Promotion of advanced technology applications, including drones
- Initiatives to solve regional issues using AI cameras, etc.

The company remains committed to promoting digital technology in collaboration with local governments and contributing to the sustainable development of local communities.

■ Dispatched Employee
Joined a Fujitsu dealer in 1985 and has been responsible for the municipal market ever since.
Implemented various DX support for municipalities in Saitama Prefecture, including planning municipal seminars as a former Business Subcommittee Chair at the Saitama Information Service Industry Association.
Working at Abelsoft since July 2021.
In charge of the 'FY2024 Regional Digital Infrastructure Promotion Project (Subsidized Project).'
Worked on 'urban visualization' using AI cameras in Chichibu City.
