Yoshizawa Yasumi, Creator of the Showa-Era Classic Manga 'Dokonjo Gaeru', to Appear and Hold a Signing Event at Kichijoji Tokyu on June 6, 'Frog Day'

At the currently ongoing 'Master Manga Artist Print Exhibition' (Tokyu Kichijoji Store), we are introducing print works from 'Dokonjo Gaeru'.

June 6th during the exhibition period is 'Frog Day'! In conjunction with this, Mr. Yoshizawa's visit has been realized.

~About the Manga 'Dokonjo Gaeru'~

Set in the old downtown area of Tokyo, this popular human-interest comedy manga features the odd couple of an energetic junior high school student 'Hiroshi' and a flat frog 'Pyonkichi' stuck to his shirt, involving a variety of colorful characters in slapstick adventures. Even more than 50 years after its serialization began, the characters are widely recognized and well-liked across generations.
