Collection Inspiration|Reinterpreting Inner Beauty

The female figures depicted by Chen Chin are delicate, introspective, and imbued with a gentle grace.
UUIN drew inspiration from her brushwork and colors, transferring the atmosphere of her paintings onto textiles.

Using punto and jacquard materials, the collection elevates fashion by layering fabrics like a single painting.

The fact that Google featured her on its homepage in 2023 to commemorate her 115th birth anniversary also adds a contemporary resonance to this collection.

Design|From Painting to Clothing

The design is constructed based on a sketch from her 1927 work 'Poppy Flower'.
With a color palette of beige, powder white, ink black, and orange-red, reminiscent of the texture of aged paper, it reproduces a historical mood and warmth.

Furthermore, motifs of flowers and weaves were extracted from her representative works 'Ensemble' and 'Picture of Women' and reconstructed as fabric patterns.
The color scheme, based on ivory, pink, light blue, and misty gray, expresses a texture that clings to the skin like soft powder.

Details such as diagonal closures, flared sleeves, and sheer layers create a light and poetic silhouette, producing a delicate presence as if fragrant powder were dancing on the skin.

UUIN|Full-scale Expansion into the Japanese Market

With Taiwanese local culture and island aesthetics as its creative foundation, UUIN has successfully expanded into the Japanese market, contributing to the increased recognition and appreciation of Taiwanese culture abroad.

During the event period, a simultaneous promotion will be held on the official website, allowing consumers who cannot visit the venue to purchase at Japan-exclusive prices on the A*COLLECTIVE JAPAN online store.
