AlphaPurchase Launches "Upload Search," a New Feature for Mugen Catalog

AlphaPurchase Corporation (President: Takao Tanabe, hereinafter "the Company") is pleased to announce the launch of "Upload Search," a new feature for its Mugen Catalog, on April 28. This will significantly contribute to the efficiency of our customers' indirect material procurement operations. Compared to direct materials, indirect materials are characterized by a large number of items with low unit prices and a wide variety, making the efficiency of procurement operations a challenge. Since its establishment, the Company has provided various solutions to customers to address these unique challenges of indirect material procurement. Among them, Mugen Catalog is utilized by many customers as a mechanism that enables simple and rational indirect material procurement, which tends to be vast and complex, through cross-comparison of identical items across multiple catalogs and an automatic replacement function with the lowest-priced items. The "Upload Search" feature, newly added to Mugen Catalog, allows users to search by simply dragging and dropping an Excel file containing product information to be searched. This enables a significant increase in operational efficiency by allowing batch search and ordering of a large number of items that were previously handled one by one. Of course, the existing function of automatically replacing target products with the lowest-priced items remains applicable, contributing to cost reduction. Furthermore, even if the relevant product does not exist in the catalog or the product is not yet decided as a result of the upload search, it is possible to propose equivalent products by contacting the Company.
