Amaterasu Resort Co., Ltd. is opening "The Kawaguchiko Villa" to fuse the ultimate gastronomy presented by a chef selected for the "World Top 100" with a modern Bohemian space inspired by the style of Kit Kemp, a British designer awarded the Order of the British Empire and Best Hotel in the World for Design, in the unparalleled location at the foot of Mt. Fuji, a World Heritage site. Targeting discerning domestic and international gourmets and travelers who love art and nature, it aims to be a "gastronomic sanctuary that satisfies all five senses," transcending mere accommodation. It seeks to create new value and community with the local society as a new hub for gastronomy tourism in the Mt. Fuji area.

"The Kawaguchiko Villa" is thoroughly committed to menus that can only be tasted in this region, generously using carefully selected caviar and delicious local ingredients based on the concept of 'affordable luxury.' It also offers a wide selection of wines, from delicious yet reasonably priced options to rare vintages, led by Romanée-Conti, to welcome gourmets. Each of the five guest rooms has a different theme named after a color, such as "AMBER that illuminates eternity," and is designed as a sanctuary surrounded by art pieces. Additionally, special activities unique to this region are introduced, such as luxury car sightseeing tours to enjoy the magnificent view of Mt. Without forgetting that feeling, this time we are opening an auberge, our first accommodation facility.
