Aista Inc. New Business Format Reuse Shop "i-spot"
Aista Inc. (Headquarters: Saitama Prefecture) will open a new reuse shop, "i-spot," on July 1, 2026 (Wed), located a 1-minute walk from the west exit of Tsuruse Station on the Tobu Tojo Line.
On the same date, Koji Oritate assumed the position of Representative Director and President, marking the start of a new management system.
i-spot, born as the first step of the new system, is a consultation-based reuse shop with the concept of "Turning 'Trouble' into 'Good,'" dedicated to addressing the daily challenges of each customer.
Going beyond the conventional image of a reuse shop as merely a place to sell unwanted items, i-spot aims to be a community-based "living consultation service" that carefully handles everyday concerns such as "I don't know where to start consulting" or "Is this something I can consult about?"
From Reuse Shop to "Living Consultation Service"
A buying and consultation counter will be established, welcoming customers to consult anytime.
In recent years, the reuse market has continued to expand, driven by rising prices and increased environmental awareness. The choice to "sell" or "reuse" unwanted items instead of discarding them has become common, and many people now utilize reuse services.
However, the consultations received from customers have become increasingly diverse.
Troubled by tidying up due to moving
Wanting to dispose of large furniture
Wanting to replace home appliances
Wanting to consult about遺品整理 (sorting belongings of the deceased) or 生前整理 (pre-death tidying)
Wanting to have items appraised whose value is unknown
These requests have been increasing year by year, and many cases cannot be resolved by simple buying services alone.
Aista Inc. has established i-spot as a place where customers can easily consult, responding to these changing times.
Specialized staff will carefully listen to each customer's story and, utilizing the group's services, will guide them to the optimal solution, including in-store buying, home pickup buying, and proposals for used appliances.
Valuing "A Place Where It's Easy to Consult"
i-spot is conveniently located a 1-minute walk from the west exit of Tsuruse Station.
Although the store is on the 4th floor of a building, customers can smoothly access it via elevator, ensuring a comfortable experience for the elderly and those carrying luggage.
Furthermore, unlike street-level stores, i-spot offers an environment where customers can consult calmly without worrying about being seen.
We aim to create a store that is easily accessible even for those who "haven't decided whether to sell" or "just want to consult first."
Inside the store, Aista's strengths in integrated buying, maintenance, and sales are utilized to keep costs down, allowing us to sell used appliances at affordable prices. Customers can view and purchase products, and we can also respond to requests like "I'm looking for this kind of appliance/furniture."
Opening Commemorative Campaign
To celebrate the opening, a limited quantity of udon noodles will be presented to customers who visit.
Additionally, a prize campaign will be held for visitors, with a chance to win a Nintendo Switch 2.
These events are held to provide an opportunity for local residents to easily visit the store and learn about i-spot.
Comment from New Representative Director and President, Koji Oritate
"i-spot is not just a reuse shop.
Our mission is to transform 'trouble' into 'good,' and we aspire to be a presence that supports each customer's concerns.
We will strive to build a store that is trusted and loved by the local community, serving not only as a place to buy unwanted items but also as a place to consult about various life challenges.
Moving forward, Aista Inc., under its new management system, will aim to be a trusted company for the local community and expand services nationwide that can solve life's problems through reuse."
