Miyazaki × Fukuoka: New Service Brand 'ZIKUX' Launched to Support Photo Delivery, Selection, and Instant Distribution

Yoshimi Camera Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kirishima, Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture; President: Naotoshi Ichiki) announces the launch of 'ZIKUX (Jikusu),' a cloud-based workflow support service brand designed to assist professional photographers with photo delivery, sharing, and handover, in collaboration with Murakami Development LLC (Headquarters: Kokubu, Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture; Representative: Toshihiko Murakami).

ZIKUX consists of two services: 'ZIKUX MEDIA PASS (Jikusu Media Pass),' which supports post-shoot photo review, selection, and large-volume data delivery, and 'ZIKUX LIVE SHOOT (Jikusu Live Shoot),' an instant delivery service that delivers photos quickly from the shooting site. Both services will begin on July 1, 2026.

In recent years, the photography industry has faced challenges due to labor shortages, small-scale operations, and one-person shooting setups, leading to increasing burdens from post-shoot tasks such as photo sorting, selection confirmation, data delivery, and re-sending requests. By combining Yoshimi Camera’s on-site planning expertise with Murakami Development’s software planning and development capabilities, ZIKUX aims to reduce the burden of post-shoot delivery tasks for professional photographers and photo studios.

Both services will be available starting July 1, 2026, and free trial access will be offered for evaluation purposes.

Background of Development

In professional photography and photo studio environments, numerous delivery-related tasks arise beyond the actual shooting—photo organization, data upload, sharing URL distribution, selection confirmation, and download instructions.

Founded in 1956, Yoshimi Camera is a camera specialty store that has long planned and sold equipment and accessories for shooting environments. Its photography aid product 'Ninja Ref,' designed to reduce reflections on glass during shooting, has sold approximately 40,000 units, demonstrating its commitment to solving on-site challenges. Additionally, Yoshimi Camera operates its own photo studios and photo galleries, providing various photography services including commemorative portraits, advertising shoots, product photography, architectural photography, event photography, and school photography. Through these operations, the company has firsthand experience with the significant burden post-shoot tasks—such as data organization, photo confirmation, selection handling, delivery notifications, and re-sending—place on staff and photographers.

Murakami Development, meanwhile, has developed and provided software solutions to address operational inefficiencies and burdens for photo studios and photographers, including 'PHOTORIMI,' an AI-based trimming software for ID photos.

ZIKUX is a jointly planned and launched service based on challenges identified by Yoshimi Camera in its own shooting environments and operational pain points gathered by Murakami Development through interviews with photo studios and photographers.
