The work has been adapted into TV anime, dramas, and commercials, and even more than 50 years after its serialization began, it boasts an 80% recognition rate across all age groups (*August 2023 / in-house survey / internet survey / n=500).
This project aims to leverage the IP of "Dokonjo Gaeru" to contribute to promoting Yamanashi's appeal and regional co-creation. Together with various regions and businesses involved in Yamanashi, and with Pyonkichi and friends, we will energize the entire Yamanashi.

The first phase starts in Hayakawa Town.
In Hayakawa Town, blessed with abundant nature, we will first collaborate with the Hayakawa Town Board of Education to jointly promote rural study abroad programs. "Dokonjo Gaeru" will fully support the challenges of children learning and growing in the great outdoors, away from the city. Details of the initiative will be announced sequentially.
Expanding throughout Yamanashi.
Dokonjo Company aims to continue a long and deep involvement with the Yamanashi region, using the "never-give-up spirit" and "approachability" of the 'Dokonjo Gaeru' IP as its strengths.
Starting with Hayakawa Town, we plan to expand our activities to various regions within Yamanashi Prefecture. Aiming for a future where all of Yamanashi is energized with 'Dokonjo Gaeru,' we will sequentially advance collaborations with local governments, companies, and organizations that become our partners.
