Tarami Co., Ltd. (Location: Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Yoshihiro Kobayashi) will launch "Acai Bowl Jelly," which reproduces the taste and texture of the popular acai bowl, as a new product starting from May 11, 2026 (Monday).

This is a fruity and vibrant mixed jelly with acai extract and three kinds of fruit juices: blueberry, apple, and strawberry. It features a gentle banana flavor and a mellow honey finish. Imagining an acai bowl, this jelly has a thick, rich texture with nata de coco for an accent. It contains polyphenols, allowing for delicious and easy nutritional intake.

●Development Background

The "acai bowl" boom has continued in recent years, spreading through social media, TV, and web media. With offerings from cafes and specialty stores, its photogenic, colorful visual appeal, deliciousness, and healthiness have garnered attention, especially among younger generations.

While the recognition rate of acai bowls has reached over 80%, the consumption experience rate remains around 40%. Furthermore, about half of non-consumers feel they "want to try it," indicating significant latent demand. However, many complaints are raised about the difficulty of enjoying it casually due to reasons such as "high price," "not sold at nearby stores," and "no opportunity to go to a cafe."
