Raising sea urchins from landlocked Itabashi, Tokyo. Itabashi Togetoge Inc. is taking on the challenge of producing sea urchins through completely onshore aquaculture. We present a new option of 'fisheries that do not depend on the ocean' in response to the decline of fishery resources and changes in the marine environment. Furthermore, through school classes, joint research with students, and open innovation with companies, we aim to accelerate technological development and establish a next-generation fishery model with an eye on acquiring patents.
