President and Representative Director Tomohiro Kuriyama explains future policies and key initiatives.
Refurbished Truck and Subscription Businesses to be Strengthened
The 7th Mid-Term Management Plan focuses on strengthening the refurbished truck business and the subscription business.
Refurbished trucks are used trucks that have been reconditioned and restored after a certain period of use, bringing them to a quality level close to that of new vehicles.
Utilizing used trucks for a longer period not only expands vehicle operation options for customers but also contributes to reducing CO2 emissions during new vehicle manufacturing and reducing waste.
Kuriyama Motors is working to promote refurbished trucks, aiming to simultaneously improve the value of used trucks and reduce environmental impact.
Furthermore, in the subscription business, the company is responding to diversifying needs by proposing flexible vehicle utilization tailored to customer usage patterns and business environments.
Sustainable Growth Through Human Resource Development and Organizational Strength
The rally also included statements of intent from newly promoted employees and introductions of new hires.
In addition to awards for employees with 10 or more years of service and promotions, awards were also given for various employee initiatives and achievements, such as SDGs senryu (a type of Japanese poetry) and perfect attendance awards. This provided an opportunity to share gratitude for employees who have supported the company for many years and expectations for those taking on new roles.
Based on the philosophy that the growth of each employee leads to the growth of the company, Kuriyama Motors will continue to promote human resource development and organizational strengthening.
Scenes from the in-house awards ceremony. Initiatives by individual employees, such as contributions to SDGs senryu, were also recognized.
