A former professional baseball player from Fujimi City, Saitama Prefecture.

He played actively as a utility player for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters (2008–2011) and the Hanshin Tigers (2012–2018).

Since his active playing days, he was known for livening up the ballpark by imitating other players.

Currently, he is active as a utility talent, working as a sports commentator for baseball broadcasts and sports segments, while also leveraging his bright personality to appear on variety programs.

He is also dedicated to promoting baseball, including operating a sports academy that teaches baseball to children.
