This event will feature live exhibits of approximately 50 species of popular insects from around the world and Japan, including the Hercules beetle and rainbow stag beetle, as well as a display of valuable specimens from the Evolutional Biology Institute. Visitors can enjoy learning about the diversity of insects and the depth of life. Furthermore, a special corner produced by insect YouTuber "Daiki Mushioka," who boasts approximately 270,000 subscribers, and talk shows will be held, offering an event where visitors can experience the charm of insects through a variety of content. This edutainment experience will allow children and adults alike to deepen their understanding of the mysteries of life and nature through encounters with real insects.

In addition, from mid-July, we will hold "Tamagawa Summer Kids Experience Program ~KIDS SUMMER WEEKS~," offering learning opportunities unique to summer vacation such as job experiences and creative workshops. We will also hold hands-on workshops where participants can learn about SDGs and resource recycling through activities like seaweed pressing and upcycling crafts, with a theme of the natural environment of the Tama River and the sea.

Furthermore, from Friday, July 17, to Monday, July 20 (holiday), for four days, we will hold the summer storewide sale "TAMAGAWA Special Days" with approximately 300 participating stores, including food, fashion, miscellaneous goods, and restaurants. You can purchase popular items and trending products of the season at great prices, and various services will be available to ensure a comfortable shopping experience. ◆Tamagawa Insect Exhibition 2026 ~Let's Look into the World of Insects~

During the summer vacation period, we will hold an insect experience event where children and adults can learn while having fun. In addition to popular insects from around the world such as the Hercules beetle and rainbow stag beetle, Japanese insects will also be gathered, with approximately 50 species of diverse live specimens on display. Furthermore, in a special corner produced by insect YouTuber "Daiki Mushioka," who boasts approximately 270,000 subscribers, live exhibits of about 20 species of insects recommended by him will be held.

In addition, the exhibition using valuable specimens from the Evolutional Biology Institute will introduce approximately 80 insect specimens on themes such as "Dragonflies of the World," "Butterflies of the World," "Beautiful Insects," "World's Largest Insects," and "Mimic Insects." The exhibition, organized by theme, allows for an easy-to-understand view of insect diversity and evolutionary characteristics.

In addition, workshops that can be used for free research will be held for four days only during the event period, and talk shows by "Daiki Mushioka" are also planned.
