Scarlett Johansson, moved by the script of this film, took on her first feature-length directorial role and also served as producer. With humor and wit, she lightly depicted family conflicts born from closeness, the juxtaposition of old and young, memories of the Holocaust, the act of passing down stories, and above all, the universal bond between people. Against the backdrop of Jewish culture, the roots of herself and her family, she transforms experiences of sorrow into a story of friendship. Eleanor is played by June Squibb, who is 96 years old. She is the same elderly woman who powerfully portrayed Thelma in "Thelma Goes! A Gentle Revenge by a 93-Year-Old," a major hit in Japan. Nina, the student who deepens her friendship with Eleanor, is played by Erin Kellyman from "Solo: A Star Wars Story" and the "28 Years Later..." series. The ultimate friendship, which begins with a "lie," moves people's hearts. This special story, dedicated to a beloved grandmother, is finally having its Japanese premiere!

Eleanor, whose heart is left with a void after the sudden death of her lifelong best friend, moves to New York to spend her remaining years in her hometown.

However, her daughter is distant, and her grandson is always busy. One day, she wanders into a Holocaust survivor meeting. Though out of place, Eleanor, while confused, speaks about the life story her deceased Holocaust survivor friend used to tell only her, as if it were her own experience. Nina, an aspiring journalist, is deeply moved by this tragic past and opens up to Eleanor. Eleanor's heart also leaps with this new friendship with Nina, who has just lost her mother, transcending the age difference. However, the well-intentioned lie takes on a life of its own and escalates into a major commotion...
