Background of Sponsorship and Participation
The Company is committed to contributing to nature-positive outcomes through its business and transparent information disclosure. In FY2023, it became the first real estate company in Japan to disclose a "TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures) Report," sharing initiatives in the "Greater Shibuya Area (urban)." In FY2024, it disclosed evaluations and analyses at "Tokyu Resort Town Tateshina (forest)," a representative resort facility of the Group. Furthermore, in FY2025, through the integrated "TCFD/TNFD Report (Consolidated Edition)," which combines disclosures from the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) and TNFD, the Company disclosed assessments at "Palau Pacific Resort (marine)," a large-scale resort hotel operated by the Group for over 40 years. Over approximately three years, the Company has largely completed disclosing evaluations and analyses at representative sites across the major environmental domains—urban, forest, and marine—where the Group operates.
This sponsorship decision aims to widely communicate the Company's track record in integrated climate and nature-related disclosures, as well as the creation of its unique high-value "Environmental Premium" derived from environmental leadership and social issue resolution, to domestic and international stakeholders, fostering dialogue toward a more nature-positive future.
