Tokyu Land, Shizuoka Prefecture, JR Central, and ReINN Collaborate to Promote Dual-Residence Lifestyles

Tokyu Land Corporation, Shizuoka Prefecture, Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central), and ReINN, a group company of Tokyu Fudosan Holdings, have been selected for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's project to implement leading dual-residence initiatives. The four parties will collaborate to establish the dual-residence lifestyle.

In fiscal year 2025, Tokyu Land, Shizuoka Prefecture, and JR Central will collaborate to hold events in December for users of 'SHIBUYA MABLs,' a community app provided by Tokyu Land that fosters the value of Shibuya, to experience dual-residence in Shizuoka. Initiatives to promote this lifestyle have begun, including reducing transportation costs for participants.

From fiscal year 2026, 'MABLs,' an app-based service, will build a new model that combines information dissemination about dual-residence in the Greater Shibuya area with work and networking opportunities in Shizuoka. By making this available on the app, we will further promote dual-residence.

Furthermore, JR Central will support this by reducing transportation costs, and Shizuoka Prefecture will provide support by certifying dual-residents and reducing housing costs in collaboration with local accommodation providers. ReINN will also participate to support the purchase of second homes. Through this four-party collaboration, we will provide total support from the stages of learning about and experiencing a new dual-residence lifestyle to the stage of regularly traveling and living in two locations.
