Lobby featuring art inspired by Hokusai Katsushika's "Phoenix Screen Painting"

Royal Hotel Co., Ltd. (Nakanoshima, Kita-ku, Osaka; President & CEO Fumikazuz Ueda) will open "Uncrd by Riga Osaka Namba," a new brand hotel under its Rihga Royal Hotels portfolio, on Friday, April 3, 2026, following development by Tokyu Fudosan Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO Hiroaki Hoshino). The concept is "PLAYFUL OSAKA." Anchored by a dynamic lobby mural depicting the phoenix—a symbol of good fortune—the hotel offers playful, memorable stays through art evoking the energetic atmosphere of the Namba and Shinsekai areas, complemented by warm and friendly service.

The new hotel is ideally located within walking distance of "Shinsekai" (home of Tsutenkaku Tower), "Ura-Namba" (a fusion of food cultures), and "Otaro-do" (a mecca for subculture enthusiasts), making it a perfect base for exploring Osaka's local cuisine and unique attractions.

The property features 200 guest rooms, each equipped with a bathroom with a washing area and a separate toilet. The restaurant serves Osaka-inspired meals throughout the day—from breakfast offerings such as "Western-style takoyaki" cooked on an iron griddle and mixed juice, through to dinner. The top floor houses a large communal bath and sauna. Osaka-based artists have adorned every space with distinctive, playful art that embodies the spirit of "PLAYFUL OSAKA."

Serving as a base for experiencing "deep Osaka," the hotel invites guests to immerse themselves in the excitement of travel while finding relaxation and rejuvenation for both body and mind.
