'Metro Back Alley Tour ~Let's Go Find the Hidden Charms of the City~' A Digital Stamp Rally Will Be Held!

Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Taito-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Akitoshi Kosaka; hereinafter 'Tokyo Metro') will hold the 'Metro Back Alley Tour ~Let's Go Find the Hidden Charms of the City~' digital stamp rally from Friday, May 22, 2026, to encourage people to visit various charming towns in Tokyo while using our lines.

The 'Metro Back Alley Tour ~Let's Go Find the Hidden Charms of the City~' is a digital stamp rally held from Friday, May 22, 2026, to Sunday, January 24, 2027. Starting from a Tokyo Metro station, with the theme of 'enjoyably walking from station to station and feeling the seasonal atmosphere of the city and the charm of the back alleys,' you can acquire digital stamps using GPS while walking a course of about 4-6 kilometers.

All participants who complete one of the four courses (collect all five stamps) will receive an original smartphone wallpaper for the 'Metro Back Alley Tour.' Furthermore, 250 people selected by lottery from those who complete two courses will receive 'Tokyo Metro Original Goods,' and three people selected by lottery from those who complete all courses will receive a 'Gift Certificate (equivalent to 5,000 yen).' In this stamp rally, you can discover the 'unseen charms of Tokyo' while visiting back alleys and hidden spots in the city that you can only encounter by walking. It also promotes health through enjoyable walking and can be enjoyed by everyone, from individuals to families and friends. Continuing the legacy of the 'Metro Town Tour Stamp Rally' from FY2022-2024 and the 'Metro Wellness Rally' from FY2025, this project is a further evolved and enhanced sequel, offering an opportunity to experience the diverse charms of Tokyo.

Tokyo Metro will continue to contribute to creating vibrancy in the areas along its lines through 'City Tourism' in Tokyo.

1. Implementation Period and Courses

2. Rally Rules - You cannot participate after each period ends. Please participate during the event period. (Example: During the 4th period, you cannot participate in the 1st to 3rd periods as their periods have ended.) - You can start each course from either station. - It is possible to acquire digital stamps at five checkpoints, including the stations, for each course. - Digital stamps can be acquired over multiple days within the implementation period. - Checkpoints for each period's course, other than the stations, will be published on the 'Metro Back Alley Tour' dedicated website. *Please note that the content of the rally may change depending on the situation.

3. Participation Fee Free (Transportation costs, facility admission fees, communication costs, etc. required for the stamp rally will be borne by the customer.)

4. How to Participate - An email address that can be received on a smartphone or similar device is required. Please set it to receive emails from event-metro.jp. - The 'Metro Back Alley Tour' is intended for smartphones equipped with a GPS function. - Recommended environments are iOS 16 or later and Android 12 or later.

Step 1: Participant Registration Please register for participation using either method 'A' or 'B' below. A: Read the 2D barcode on the posters displayed at each Tokyo Metro station with your smartphone, etc., and register from the dedicated site. B: Access the 'Metro Back Alley Tour' dedicated site and register for participation. https://www.event-metro.jp/rally/rojiura *The screen after login will be viewable from May 22nd (the start date of the 'Metro Back Alley Tour'). *Those who registered for the 'Metro Town Tour Stamp Rally' held from FY2022-2024 and the 'Metro Wellness Rally' held in FY2025 do not need to register again and can continue to use their registration.

Step 2: Acquiring Digital Stamps (5 per course) Head to the five checkpoints within the target course, and when you access the stamp page of each checkpoint from the dedicated site near the target station or facility, you can acquire the stamp using GPS location information.
