This live-action adaptation of a popular e-comic with over 11 million downloads is a new kind of romantic comedy. It portrays a pride-clashing battle of 'slyly cute' vs. 'slyly cute,' beginning when protagonist Kotone Matsushima (Karen Otomo), who has always won at love and life with her 'slyly cute' tactics, meets her strongest rival yet.

"Slyly cute"—a phrase that proves I'm living life my own way.

Kotone Matsushima (Karen Otomo) hits rock bottom after learning that her憧れ, Seika Kitagawa (Airi Kisaki), is the girlfriend of Masataka Shimizu (Ryoga Funatsu). She tries to call Sahara Nazuna (Reika Sakurai) for comfort, but can't get through. At that time, Nazuna had just been confessed to by her colleague Yoshinobu Seguchi (Jun Oshamambe), but had become timid about romance and was unable to take a new step forward.

Seeing Nazuna's indecisiveness towards both Rihito Tanaka (Keijiro Yagami) and Seguchi, Kotone worries about Nazuna's future, saying, "If you keep this up, you'll never find someone..."
