Tokyo Skytree Town will host various events from April through the Golden Week period.

◆ The 4th Taiwan Festival. This year, in collaboration with Tainan City, an ancient capital in Southern Taiwan

The 'Taiwan Festival in Tokyo Skytree Town(R) 2026 - Tainan Lantern Festival -' will be held from April 4th (Saturday) to May 31st (Sunday). The Taiwan Festival has become a well-established popular Golden Week event. In addition to familiar exquisite Taiwanese gourmet dishes like 'Dajipai' and 'Xiaolongbao', Tainan's unique gourmet dishes such as 'Tainan Danzi Mien' and 'Tainan Shrimp Rice' will appear.

◆ Tokyo Skytree Town(R) Koinobori Festival 2026

Approximately 1,000 koinobori (carp streamers) will be displayed throughout Tokyo Skytree Town, allowing visitors to enjoy schools of carp streamers. Among the displayed koinobori, Sumida Aquarium's garden eel streamers will also make an appearance!

◆ Events for both children and adults will also be held!!

There will be a wide variety of events to enjoy all day long, including workshops related to 'koinobori', the limited-time 'Sumida Otter Fan Appreciation Festival' at Sumida Aquarium, and the 'Chiikawa Pocket POP UP STORE' & Chiipoke 1st Anniversary event!

(1) 'Taiwan Festival in Tokyo Skytree Town(R) 2026 - Tainan Lantern Festival -'

The highly popular event, 'Taiwan Festival in Tokyo Skytree Town(R) 2026 - Tainan Lantern Festival -', will be held for the 4th time this year. This time, it's a collaboration with Tainan City, an ancient capital in Southern Taiwan. Special menus featuring fruits from Tainan, known as one of Tainan's leading fruit-producing regions, will appear. You can enjoy local flavors, including familiar Taiwanese night market gourmet dishes, the 'Tainan Set' where you can enjoy Tainan's representative local gourmet dishes all at once, and 'Tainan Shrimp Rice (Tainan Sharen Fan)', which features savory fried small shrimp with a sweet and rich special sauce generously poured over rice. With the cooperation of Tainan City, Taiwan, Tainan lanterns brought from the local area will brilliantly decorate the venue. The merchandise corner at the venue will feature a wide array of Taiwanese sweets and goods. There will also be an authentic Taiwanese massage experience booth to relieve daily fatigue.
