4th 'TRENG Support' Recruitment Starts: Toray Engineering Supports Engineering Master's Research and Talent Development

Toray Engineering Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Taku Iwade; hereinafter 'Toray Engineering') will implement the 4th edition of 'TRENG Support,' an initiative to support research in engineering graduate schools (Master's programs).

This initiative, aimed at fostering engineering talent to create the next generation, selects research themes based on social impact, originality, engineering value, and expressiveness through evaluation by three experts, and provides donations. It has been held since 2023.

In this 4th public recruitment, as with the previous time, 10 donations (500,000 yen each) will be presented (totaling 5 million yen). The application period is from May 7 to September 15.

To maintain and improve Japan's industrial strength and realize a sustainable society, the active participation of more engineering talent is essential. Through this initiative, by supporting the 'dreams' of Master's students through their research, we aim to energize engineering education and contribute broadly to society.
