'Hearty Nyumen' to be released on June 1, 2026

Sugita Ace Co., Ltd., which develops and sells the long-term storage food 'IZAMESHI,' will release a new product, 'Hearty Nyumen,' on June 1, 2026 (Mon). The new lineup includes five varieties: 'Fluffy Egg Noodles,' 'Assorted Mushroom Noodles,' 'Plenty of Seaweed Noodles,' 'Aosa Clam Noodles,' and 'Shijimi Ginger Noodles.' 'Nyumen' refers to somen noodles served in a warm broth. Because they are simmered softly without oil, they are gentle on digestion and have been a beloved Japanese noodle dish for ages, suitable for times when you are feeling unwell or your stomach is tired. The noodles use 'Banshu hand-stretched noodles,' which boast a tradition of about 600 years in the southern part of Hyogo Prefecture. Each product is finished with a special seafood or meat-based broth. With a self-standing package design, you can easily eat them using the included fork just by pouring hot water, without needing a pot or bowl. We also offer set products that can be used not only for emergency preparedness but also as gifts for loved ones.
