The gin 'KUBOTA GIN,' produced by Asahi Shuzo Co., Ltd., has won a silver medal in the Contemporary Style gin category at the 'World Gin Awards 2026,' one of the world's most prestigious awards. 'KUBOTA GIN' was developed with an eye toward future global expansion, adopting the English spelling of the flagship sake brand 'Kubota' and aiming to create a 'delicious gin that can compete globally.' This gin is developed with the theme of natural healing, inspired by 'Satoyama' (the border zone between mountain foothills and arable land), which brings 'relaxation' and 'healing' through the scenery and scents of the four seasons. By distilling 16 types of botanicals individually and blending multiple types of base spirits in an optimal ratio, the gin expresses a unique worldview through its flavor. Hiroyasu Tamura, the development manager, commented, 'We are very honored to receive a silver medal at the world-renowned World Gin Awards.' The price is 5,500 yen for the standard box and 6,000 yen (excluding tax) for the gift box.
