Gion Niku Ryori Oka, a private meat kaiseki restaurant in Kyoto, will release "Oka," a mail-order exclusive aged roast beef, on May 18, 2026. Priced at 198,000 yen and limited to 8 sets per month, it features 600g of aged Chateaubriand from premium female cows. The product comes in a handcrafted wooden rice container (Ohitsu) by Asakura Kagu, designed for high-end corporate gifts and special celebrations. Delivery takes 15 to 45 days as the meat is prepared upon order.
