X-ONE LLC will release the comprehensive anime and game entertainment magazine 'MAG EDGE Vol.2' on July 9, 2026.

Vol.2, published under the new name 'MAG EDGE' (formerly 'MAG'), will feature a major special on 'Ghost in the Shell: THE ANIMATED SERIES,' which will begin TV broadcasting in July 2026. In addition to the cover art of Motoko Kusanagi from Public Security Section 9, drawn by Science SARU, the magazine will delve deeply into the work's appeal with over 40 pages of cover features.

The content is designed to be thoroughly enjoyable for both long-time fans and newcomers to 'Ghost in the Shell,' including interviews with Director 'Moco-chan' and Character Design/Chief Animation Director Shuhei Handa, as well as visuals detailing the settings, roles, and backgrounds of the Public Security Section 9 members. A special fold-out pin-up featuring a highly coveted new illustration will also be included.
