Colorful Palette's 'Hana ni Nare' Hits #1 on Oricon Enka & Kayokyoku Weekly Single Chart

Colorful Palette, signed to CIMS Music Entertainment, achieved the #1 spot on the Oricon weekly Enka and Kayokyoku single chart (dated June 8, 2026; tracking period: May 25–May 31, 2026) with their new single 'Hana ni Nare', released on May 27, 2026.

Furthermore, the single ranked 7th on the Oricon weekly single chart, gaining widespread support across genre boundaries.

Colorful Palette debuted in 2014 as an entertainment pop unit featuring Vo. Yu-ki and GtVo. Akihiro from Shizuoka Prefecture. They focus on original music and perform live nationwide, garnering support from a wide range of generations.

They have handled numerous television tie-ups, including theme songs for NTV's 'Sukkiri' and ending themes for TBS's 'Hiruobi!'. The music video for their cover song 'Niji' has surpassed 3.76 million views on YouTube, becoming a beloved track across generations.

Yu-ki (Yuki Omura) has received high acclaim as a composer, winning the Grand Prix in the Composition Category at the 38th New Kayokyoku Works Competition held by the Japan Music Writers Association for the song 'Umi wo Wataru Chou' (Ocean-Crossing Butterfly) sung by Kim Yonja (Crown Nippon).
