Yamano-yu Sento and BenQ collaborate to offer a limited-time immersive sports viewing experience with 4K projectors

Yamano-yu, the first super public bath in Ibaraki Prefecture (Mito City), is collaborating with BenQ Japan to offer a special space where visitors can enjoy large-screen sports viewing after their baths, using the latest 4K smart home projector, the TK705i, from June 12 for a limited time.

The TK705i is a 4K smart home projector that offers 4K UHD resolution, 3,000 ANSI lumens of brightness, and BenQ's proprietary CinematicColor™ technology, enabling vivid and natural images even in bright rooms. It can project a 100-inch screen from a distance of about 2.2m, with a throw ratio of 1.0–1.3 and 1.3x optical zoom, providing flexibility based on the installation environment. Furthermore, its MEMC technology smooths out fast-moving scenes, creating an immersive viewing experience perfect for sports.

By adding the fun of sports viewing to the time spent at the facility, Yamano-yu aims to enrich the experience before and after bathing. This proposal combines relaxation with the thrill of sports through BenQ's large-screen projection technology.

Visitors can enjoy the excitement of sports on a large screen in a special space designed for luxury after-bath relaxation. The TK705i, with specs optimized for sports, provides high-definition, realistic color reproduction and smooth motion correction, offering a space where guests can savor the excitement of sports while relaxing in the bathhouse.
