* Those who find it difficult to notice signs of mental distress and feel that their response is delayed.
* Those who feel that their guidance is not yielding results and are struggling with how to interact with young employees.
◼️ Background: Why is mental health support for new employees urgent now?
Many of today's new employees are a generation who spent their adolescence during the COVID-19 pandemic and entered society without sufficient opportunities for diverse experiences such as part-time jobs or group activities. Furthermore, as workplaces transition from remote to in-person, many young employees struggle with building human relationships and adapting to the work environment. Against this backdrop, cases of mental distress and turnover occurring early after joining the company are increasing.
The stress faced by modern young employees cannot be dismissed merely as "generational gaps." Understanding it from both objective data and the real-life perspectives of those affected is essential for companies to improve their responsiveness.

■ Background & Challenges
In recent years, early turnover of new employees has become a serious management issue for many companies. Increasing recruitment costs, decline in organizational strength, and burden on other employees – many companies face these prolonged challenges.
At one company, out of 54 new employees in 2023, 16 resigned within one year. The turnover rate reached 29.6%, and urgent measures were required.
■ CHR's Intervention Request and Implemented Measures
The company requested CHR's intervention. Eight measures were gradually implemented, from problem identification to strategy formulation and execution.
*Details of each measure will be explained in the seminar.
■ Results (Comparison Before and After Intervention: 2024 → 2025)
Approximately one year after the intervention, the number of new employees at the company increased from 54 to 80, while the number of resignations within one year drastically decreased from 16 to 2. The turnover rate improved by approximately 27 percentage points, from 29.6% to 2.5%.
Preventing turnover requires not only post-recruitment support but also suitability assessment during recruitment and continuous mental health follow-up after joining the company. This case demonstrates that by integrating these into business processes, companies can suppress turnover while expanding their scale.
