Campaign Poster
A grand journey to explore yakiniku, from north to south, begins!
Last year, the "Yakiniku Tour Stamp Rally," a collaboration between Kitami City in Hokkaido, Iida City in Nagano Prefecture, and Ishigaki City in Okinawa Prefecture, each with its unique yakiniku culture, garnered significant attention. This year, we are pleased to announce its return.
This campaign aims to promote the charm of "local yakiniku" nationwide through a journey to these yakiniku meccas, creating a new travel style: "Yakiniku Travel." This year, the system has been enhanced to be even more accessible and enjoyable.

◆ Local Yakiniku
【Kitami City, Hokkaido】 A culture born from the history of railways and meat processing plants. The Kitami style is to enjoy fresh pork offal and beef skirt steak with a "raw sauce" made from local onions, served without heating.
【Iida City, Nagano Prefecture】 Its appeal lies in the diversity of "cherishing and eating any kind of meat." A culture of enjoying various meats such as lamb, beef, and pork with a matured sauce flavored with garlic and chili peppers is deeply rooted.
【Ishigaki City, Okinawa Prefecture】 A gourmet experience unique to the southern islands awaits, where you can savor island-grown beef and pork, including "Ishigaki Beef" raised in the warm climate, with traditional Yaeyama salt and spices.
◆ Japan Traverse Yakiniku Collaboration Council
The Japan Traverse Yakiniku Collaboration Council is a municipal collaboration organization composed of three cities—Kitami City (Hokkaido), Iida City (Nagano Prefecture), and Ishigaki City (Okinawa Prefecture)—which have a high number of yakiniku restaurants per capita and possess unique yakiniku cultures ("local yakiniku"). Its activities aim to promote regional revitalization by energizing and disseminating the unique yakiniku culture of each region.
