Nihon Chokuhan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Akio Mizutani; hereinafter, Nihon Chokuhan), as part of its efforts to evolve from a general mail-order company into a "comprehensive service (WEB3.0)" company centered on "entertainment, global, DX/digital," held a limited POP UP for the asymmetrical competitive multiplayer game 'Identity V' at "ORBcafe Malaysia" located within "Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport BUKIT BINTANG CITY CENTRE (hereinafter, LaLaport BBCC)" in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, starting May 8, 2026 (Friday).
'Identity V' is a game developed by NetEase Games, characterized by its gothic worldview and 1-vs-4 asymmetrical combat. This POP UP will create a space where visitors can experience the game's world in a real store through interior and exterior decorations, life-sized panels, KV slide projections, and sales of related merchandise.
■ Background of Implementation
Deepening experiential content through "IP collaboration x retail" in Asia, following North America.
Since 2025, Nihon Chokuhan has been developing entertainment IP pop-ups in North America through collaboration with BOOKOFF USA. Recently, in conjunction with "HATSUNE MIKU EXPO 2026 North America," it has been promoting the creation of experiential sales floors in collaboration with overseas retail, including sequentially holding POP UP events at 8 BOOKOFF USA stores.
This expansion into Malaysia will further extend Nihon Chokuhan's expertise in operating IP pop-ups in Asia through co-creation with local retail, F&B, and entertainment spaces. Beyond mere product sales, the event is designed to encourage fans to stay, photograph, and share their experiences by combining interior and exterior decorations, photo spots, SNS posts, and merchandise sales.
■ Event Outline
This POP UP will be held at "ORBcafe Malaysia" within "Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport BUKIT BINTANG CITY CENTRE," a large commercial facility in the center of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. LaLaport BUKIT BINTANG CITY CENTRE is introduced as a large-scale commercial facility developed by Mitsui Fudosan in Southeast Asia, located in a mixed-use development area in central Kuala Lumpur.
Project Name: 'Identity V' × ORBcafe Malaysia Limited POP UP
Event Period: May 8, 2026 (Friday) - May 31, 2026 (Sunday)
Venue: ORBcafe Malaysia
Location: LaLaport BBCC
■ Three Key Implementation Points
Creating an 'Identity V' worldview inside and outside the store.
In this project, the POP UP will utilize the space of ORBcafe Malaysia to provide a realistic experience of the 'Identity V' worldview.
1) Exterior Decoration
Key visual posters will be displayed in lightboxes outside the store, and character visual-themed sheet decorations will be applied to the windows. This aims to attract natural foot traffic from LaLaport visitors and create a highly visible sales floor that conveys the event's content to passersby.
2) Interior Decoration
Life-sized character panels will be installed inside the store. Additionally, counter decorations, table sheets, and KV slide projections on TV monitors will be combined to integrally display key visuals from TOKYO/KYOTO/OSAKA.
3) Merchandise Sales
Neo series and 7th-anniversary related merchandise are planned for sale. Through merchandise listings and POP UP-exclusive sales floor presentations, the event is designed so that visitors can enjoy the time spent choosing products.

■ Future Outlook
Nihon Chokuhan is strengthening its efforts to become a bridge between domestic and international IP content and local retail companies, designing not only product sales but also in-store experiences, SNS dissemination, and fan community formation as an integrated whole. Following its collaboration with BOOKOFF USA in North America, this expansion into Malaysia, through partnership with ORBcafe Malaysia, will further deepen real-world touchpoints in the Asian market.
Moving forward, Nihon Chokuhan will continue to expand IP pop-ups, experiential sales floors, live commerce, and SNS-linked initiatives in overseas markets, centered on "entertainment, global, DX/digital."
