The Japan Junior Wood Enterprise Federation (President: Fusakuni Taguchi; Startup Committee Chairman: Jumpei Asano; hereinafter 'Nihon Mokuseiren') will conduct 'Bundle', an entrepreneurship school aimed at fostering the next generation of the forestry and wood industry and creating collaboration beyond regions.
This program provides a multi-faceted curriculum ranging from a deep understanding of industry structure to practical learning in the field, sharing of startup cases, and business lectures. We have started recruiting students and observers for the fiscal year 2026.
Background of the Project
The forestry and wood industry consists of various processes such as forest management, logging, afforestation, sawmilling, distribution, construction, and wood utilization, each having significant roles and challenges. On the other hand, for young people and new entrants interested in the industry, opportunities to systematically understand the overall structure and learn while experiencing actual sites and advanced cases are insufficient. The entrepreneurship school 'Bundle' is being implemented to encourage new challenges in the forestry and wood industry based on these issues and to create opportunities for people inside and outside the industry to connect.
Program Features
This project will consist of six online lectures and a two-day, one-night field work session.
- Systematic Learning: Covers everything from the basic structure of the forestry and wood industry to the latest startup cases, fundraising, and business growth strategies.
- Field Practice: Experience the reality of the field through field work set in Shinshiro City, Aichi Prefecture.
- Diverse Lecturers: Specialists active on the front lines, including practitioners, business owners, startup practitioners, and investors, will speak.
- Accompaniment Support: Nihon Mokuseiren will fully support participants toward the commercialization of their projects.
