Nippon Kayaku Announces Sponsorship Agreement with SUPER GT Team "apr"

Nippon Kayaku Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Shigeyuki Kawamura, hereinafter "Nippon Kayaku") has entered into a sponsorship agreement with APR Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hiratsuka-shi, Kanagawa Prefecture; Chairman of the Board: Nobuhiko Oyama, hereinafter "apr", https://www.apr-racing.com/), a racing team competing in SUPER GT.

Nippon Kayaku has a history of providing high-performance automotive products and technologies, including automotive safety components, polarizing plates for automotive use, head-up display materials, and photochromic materials. Through this agreement, we will strengthen the promotion of these existing products and technologies, and leverage the knowledge gained from the harsh environment of motorsports to actively promote the development of new products. These include safety components for automotive and drone use, environmentally friendly resin materials that achieve weight reduction, and new fire extinguishing materials that enable rapid extinguishing of vehicle fires.

This partnership marks a significant step for Nippon Kayaku to "Evolve" beyond its current boundaries. By forming a strong partnership with apr, which operates its racing business from two perspectives as a constructor and a racing team, Nippon Kayaku will deliver further "peace of mind, affluence, and excitement" to the world.
