Aeva, a provider of next-generation sensing and perception systems, has adopted Cadence Tensilica Vision DSP IP to accelerate signal processing in its 4D LiDAR systems. This integration enables Aeva to deliver high-performance, low-power LiDAR solutions with real-time recognition and autonomy for industrial robotics and automotive sectors. Unlike conventional LiDAR, Aeva's 4D technology detects both position and velocity simultaneously. By leveraging Cadence's flexible DSP architecture and extensive software libraries, including the NeuroWeave SDK, Aeva aims to push the boundaries of perception and bring advanced sensing capabilities to market more rapidly.
