Nichigaku Co., Ltd. (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Tomohiro Yoshida), a manufacturer of blackboards and whiteboards, announces that the application guidelines and competition divisions for the "11th Nichigaku Blackboard Art Koshien®," a blackboard art competition for junior high and high school students, have been finalized.
The Nichigaku Blackboard Art Koshien® was launched with the desire to "do something as a blackboard manufacturer" after being captivated by blackboard art on social media. Marking its 10th anniversary last year, the competition has reorganized its divisions and partially revised its application guidelines starting this year.
Works drawn with chalk on school blackboards as a canvas shine as works of art thanks to the talent and pure aspirations of the younger generation. We are also delighted by the expansion of communication among students through participation in collaborative contests, and we look forward to receiving applications that will captivate and surprise us this year as well.
