In Toyone Village, Aichi Prefecture, the eight blueberry picking farms located within the village will open again this year from early July to early August 2026.
*Opening dates vary by farm, so please inquire directly.
Toyone Village blueberries are characterized by their rich flavor and sweetness. It is said that the firm berries and high sugar content are due to the extreme temperature differences experienced in Toyone Village, which has the highest elevation in Aichi Prefecture at Mt. Chausu. Taking advantage of this climate, blueberry cultivation began in Toyone Village 40 years ago, and there are now eight farms, each with its own unique characteristics. Visitors can enjoy different experiences at each farm, such as farms where you can view the mountain scenery from a high elevation, farms where you can enjoy blueberries while feeling the cool breeze along the river, and farms where you can enjoy lunch and souvenirs.
During the height of summer, please enjoy the sweet blueberries cultivated over 40 years in the high-elevation Toyone Village.
