1. Council overview
Triggered by the broadcast of the 2023 Taiga drama "What Will Ieyasu Do?", in order to widely promote the prefecture's "samurai lord tourism" nationwide, the "Aichi Prefecture Taiga Drama 'What Will Ieyasu Do?' Tourism Promotion Council" was established, consisting of the prefecture, municipalities, tourism organizations, economic organizations, etc., and for two years, efforts were made to expand tourist attraction and promote sightseeing tours. In order to inherit this all-Aichi collaboration system as a legacy, and also combine the themes of "castle tourism" and "highway tourism" that have been promoted, the "Aichi Historical Tourism Promotion Council" was established in February 2024.
