Kawanishi City, Hyogo Prefecture, will host the 77th Inagawa Fireworks Festival (organized by the Inagawa Fireworks Festival Organizing Committee) on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The event will proceed rain or shine, with no postponement in case of bad weather. The fireworks launch is scheduled from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, with approximately 4,000 fireworks planned. In conjunction with the event, paid viewing seats will be offered as a return gift for hometown tax donations.

Last year's Inagawa Fireworks Festival (fiscal year 2024)

The Inagawa Fireworks Festival is held biennially, and was not held last year, making this the first event in two years.

Due to the expected large number of attendees, Kawanishi City will collaborate with relevant agencies to enhance security and operations, aiming to reduce congestion on the riverbed and ensure a safe and secure festival.

Additionally, to prevent heatstroke, the festival has been moved from its traditional August date to November.

・Location: Inagawa Riverbed, near Kowanishi City’s Koka 2-chome and Shimokamo 1-chome, and Ikeda City’s Toen 1-chome and 2-chome

This year, paid viewing seats funded by hometown tax donations will be set up on the Kawanishi City side of the Inagawa Riverbed.

Available as a return gift for a 20,000 yen hometown tax donation, limited to the first 170 applicants.
