Since its founding in 1962, Shimamura Music has operated stores nationwide under the management philosophy of “providing the joy of music and creating as many music lovers as possible.” With this expansion into Shimane Prefecture, the company will become a comprehensive musical instrument retailer with instrument sales stores and music schools in 41 prefectures nationwide.

At the “AEON Mall Izumo Store,” we will offer a wide range of products, from acoustic pianos, digital pianos, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, electric basses, ukuleles, wind instruments, string instruments, electronic drums, various digital instruments, and soundproof rooms, to sheet music and accessories. In conjunction, we will provide diverse services that cater to all musical needs, including music classes, repair reception, and rental room operations.

In particular, considering the regional characteristic of active brass band music, we have prepared a rich selection of wind instrument-related items. We will offer not only instruments themselves but also a wide variety of specialized accessories such as reeds, mouthpieces, and ligatures. We will support all players, from students involved in club activities to general performers, to enjoy playing in the best possible condition every day.

Furthermore, for those who are concerned about their home practice environment, we will also display affordable and easily installable “soundproof rooms.” By experiencing their actual performance, we aim to resolve concerns and issues related to sound, and encourage the creation of an environment where instrumental performance can be enjoyed more comfortably.

In addition to instrument sales, we will also focus on providing “experience-based value” that encourages enjoyment of performance. For beginners, we will hold circles and events that support them from instrument selection to improvement, and for experienced players, we will provide seminars by professional musicians aimed at further skill improvement. We will help them lead a more fulfilling music life.

And as a venue for such “experience-based value,” we will install a “Seminar & Multi-purpose Room.” This is one of the features of this store, and it is a space aiming to become a new hub for the local music community. In addition to being used as a venue for various events, it can also be used as a place for everyone to gather casually and deepen interaction through music.
