Reaching Capacity in Six Months, Over 140 Visitors: Employment Support B-type Facility 'Lumo' Opens Second Location in Higashi-ku, Okayama

Okayama Disability Employment Support Co., Ltd. (Naka-ku, Okayama City, Representative: Yuichi Hitomi) has opened 'Lumo Okayama Higashi-ku Masuno Store', the second location of its employment support B-type facility 'Lumo'.

Prior to the opening of the second location, a press release presentation for media representatives will be held. The event will include a business explanation by Representative Hitomi, a facility tour, and a Q&A session.

We look forward to welcoming members of the press.

The first location, which opened in March 2025, reached its full capacity of 20 people within about six months of opening, and we continue to receive many inquiries from people wishing to join.

To date, the total number of visitors has exceeded 140, and we have received a great response, including a Google review rating of 5.0 (9 reviews) and a 100% internship satisfaction rate.

In response to this situation, we decided to open a second location to provide more people with 'work opportunities' and a 'safe place to come'.

A feature of Lumo is that it is a 'corporate-type' employment support operated by the Mitsu Electronics Group, a manufacturing company with over 55 years of history.

We provide practical employment support by offering work such as inspection and processing of plastic parts, which the Mitsu Electronics Group actually undertakes, tailored to the characteristics of each user.

In addition, we have achieved an average monthly wage of 31,876 yen and a maximum monthly wage of 60,000 yen, realizing a wage level that exceeds the national average.

At the first location, we received such a great response that we reached capacity within about six months of opening, with many people visiting and experiencing the facility.
