(Head Office: Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture) will conduct a large-scale renovation of approximately 50 stores at "Okayama Ichibangai / Sun Station Okayama," a shopping center directly connected to Okayama Station, from September 2026 to February 2027. As the first phase of the renovation, 31 stores will open simultaneously on September 18 (Fri.), primarily in the area in front of the underground ticket gates of Okayama Ichibangai and the elevated west side area on the 2nd floor of Sun Station Okayama South Building. This release will showcase a total of 35 stores, including fashion, cafes, and food, that will open from September to October, allowing visitors to "enjoy the new."
In addition, to coincide with the opening of the first phase, the "Sun Station Terrace," a rest space on the 2nd floor of Sun Station Okayama South Building, will be renovated along with the facility entrance of Okayama Ichibangai. The facilities will be reborn to be more user-friendly for both local residents visiting Okayama Station and travelers.

Sun Station Okayama "Sun Station Terrace" Renovated with Furniture from YOUBI in Nishi-Awa Village
The rest space "Sun Station Terrace" on the 2nd floor of Sun Station Okayama South Building is scheduled for renovation around mid-September 2026.
Until now, "Sun Station Terrace" has served as a place for customers visiting Sun Station Okayama to relax during train waits or shopping breaks.
With this renovation, it will go beyond being just a place to spend waiting time, adopting the concept of "a place where you can feel the local Okayama, learn more about this city, and come to love it." It will be reborn as an experiential waiting space that conveys the deep charm of Okayama to tourists and business travelers visiting Okayama, and allows local residents to rediscover the "goodness of their hometown." For the newly introduced furniture, we have partnered with "YOUBI" (Head Office: YOUBI / 43 Sakane, Nishi-Awa Village, Aida District, Okayama Prefecture), a company founded in Nishi-Awa Village, Okayama Prefecture, which handles interior design, furniture production, and architectural design. Materials symbolizing industries and crafts that have developed based on Okayama's climate, such as the "wood culture" of northern Okayama and the "textile industry" of Setouchi, are incorporated. Furthermore, for the table furniture, "NUNOUS® (Newnos)," an upcycled material from Okayama made by laminating unused fabrics such as denim, proposed by "Seishoku," a long-established dyeing and processing company in Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, with a 140-year history, is used. In addition, not only the furniture materials but also "small Okayama trivia" are engraved in various places, with features designed to make you want to share them with someone.
Enjoy the new look of "Sun Station Terrace," which can be used in various scenes, such as enjoying a meal while chatting with friends and family, taking a break during train waits or shopping, or concentrating on work.
