Notice of Reading Group for 'The DeepSeek Revolution - How Open Source AI will Change the World'

Shosukabu.com Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nerima-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and Chairman: Yutaka Yamanaka, hereinafter "the Company") will hold a reading group themed around "The DeepSeek Revolution - How Open Source AI will Change the World" (authored by Riku Nagano), co-hosted with the Nerima Political Research Group and the Civil Affairs Division 8 Surveillance Committee.

This book, starting from the Chinese-made AI "DeepSeek" which garnered significant attention in January 2025, deciphers the technological background and international impact of why a low-cost, high-performance AI emerged. According to the publisher's introduction, it explains what was so amazing about DeepSeek, whether Chinese-made AI is truly dangerous, and how the underlying ideology of "decentralized AI" will change the AI industry going forward.

Studied information engineering and advanced to graduate school as valedictorian and skipped a grade in university. After completing graduate school, he worked as an AI engineer at SoftBank, and then engaged in formulating business strategies related to AI and Web3 at Accenture. Currently, he has established piland Co., Ltd., deploying AI development, system development, and consulting businesses. Publisher bibliographic information also introduces his background of majoring in information engineering at the University of Kitakyushu and receiving an excellent presentation award for his paper on AI x Agriculture.

Yutaka Yamanaka
Activist investor representing the generation of '76 born in December 1976, art collector, philanthropist, political activity sponsor, election consultant, policy advisor, social activist, and Akita dog enthusiast.
